Warner Bros. has officially dropped its HBO Max 2026 trailer, teasing what returning and new shows subscribers can expect from the streaming platform in the new year. The video includes the first footage from Zendaya’s highly anticipated Euphoria Season 3 and DC Studios’ upcoming Lanterns series.
The Euphoria footage shows a brief preview of what’s next for Rue, Jules, Cassie, Nate, Maddy, and Lexi in Season 3. Meanwhile, the Lanterns teaser features a glimpse of the challenges that Kyle Chandler’s Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre’s John Stewart will be facing in the DC Universe show.

What is all shown in HBO Max’s 2026 trailer?
Besides Euphoria Season 3 and Lanterns, the 2026 promo reel also offered new footage from the new seasons of The Pitt, Industry, Hacks, House of the Dragon, The Gilded Age, and Dune: Prophecy. The video also teases HBO Max’s upcoming new shows for 2026, including: Game of Thrones prequel A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms; Jason Bateman’s miniseries DTF St. Louis; Steve Carell-led comedy Rooster; the new Big Bang Theory spin-off, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe; the untitled Larry David miniseries; Richard Gadd’s Half Man miniseries; Sienna Miller’s thriller series War; and the 2-part documentary Mel Brooks: The 99-Year-Old Man!
Euphoria is created and written by Sam Levinson, who is also executive producing with Zendaya and Drake. Set to debut in April 2026, Season 3 will feature the return of Zendaya as Rue, Hunter Schafer as Jules, Jacob Elordi as Nate, Alexa Demie as Maddy, Maude Apatow as Lexi, Dominic Fike as Elliot, Eric Dane as Cal, Colman Domingo as Ali, Martha Kelly as Laurie, and Chloe Cherry as Faye. Joining them are new characters played by Rosalía, Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Marshawn Lynch, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, and more.
Lanterns is executive produced by showrunner Chris Mundy (True Detective: Night Country, Ozark), Damon Lindelof (The Leftovers, Watchmen), and Tom King (Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow), with the latter two also co-writing the series. It also stars Kelly MacDonald as Kerry, Garret Dillahunt as William Macon, Poorna Jagannathan as Zoe, Ulrich Thomsen as Sinestro, Chris Coy as Waylon Sanders, Jasmine Cephas Jones as young Bernadette, Sherman Augustus as John Sr., J. Alphonse Nicholson as a young John Sr., Jason Ritter as Billy Macon, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Nicole Ari Parker as Bernadette, Sherman Augustus as John Sr. and more.
