Days of Our Lives continues to shake up Salem with fresh faces as Dan Gauthier has stepped in as Peter Blake after nearly three decades, and Karole Foreman returns as Judge Dabney to stir up courtroom drama.

Here’s a quick rundown of the newest cast changes on Days of Our Lives.

List of everyone who joined Days of Our Lives This Week

Here’s a list of the characters that will be joining the cast of Days of Our Lives this week:

Karole Foreman (Judge Dabney): Foreman will continue to appear as Judge Dabney this week, as there will be developments in Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) trying to secure custody of the children of her late daughter Abigail.

Alice Halsey (Rachel Black): The troubled daughter of Brady Black & Kristen DiMera, Alice Halsey as Rachel Black, will continue her run on the show this week. She will appear in a few scenes with Rachel Boyd’s Sophia.

Peter Porte (Dimitri Von Leuschner): Porte will return to the show as Dimitri Von Leuschner, possibly sometime this week. First playing Dmitri in 2021 on Beyond Salem, Porte then joined the main show in 2023 for a six-month run, before his character went back to jail. At the time, he told Soap Opera Digest, “It’s always sad when your storyline comes to an end.” Further he mentioned, “What I’ve been led to believe is there may be a future for Dimitri on the show somewhere down the line, but in what capacity, I don’t know.”

Wes Ramsey: Backed by a short appearance in a recent promo, it is true that Wes Ramsey will return to the cast of Days of Our Lives, however, there is no confirmation about his character.

Dan Gauthier (Peter Blake): One Life to Live alumni Dan Gaunthier will join the showsoon, playing Peter Blake, last played by Jason Brooks in 1998. With this surprise comeback, viewers will see the expansion of the DiMera family with the return of the late Stefano DiMera’s adopted son, Peter. However, he will reportedly make an appearance next week, in the December 19 episode.
