Devil May Cry Season 2 clip highlights Dante’s Ebony and Ivory
Devil May Cry Season 2 has been previewed in an exclusive clip highlighting Dante’s signature Ebony and Ivory handguns.
The official description states, “A war between worlds ignites as Dante must battle the only force that mirrors his own: his estranged twin brother Vergil.” It confirms the series “returns on May 12, only on Netflix.”
The trailer focuses on Dante and prominently features his trademark weapons, Ebony and Ivory. The description adds, “In Devil May Cry Season 2, Dante must confront his own devils and the feeling of family he lost as a child.” It also asks, “With the reemergence of Vergil, will Dante lay to rest old demons or fall victim to them?”
The animated series first premiered on April 3, 2025, on Netflix and consists of eight episodes in its first season. Studio Mir and Adi Shankar produced the adaptation, which builds on Capcom’s action franchise.
Season 2 will further adapt core conflicts from the games and expand the role of Vergil. Series creator and showrunner Adi Shankar unveiled a new image confirming Dante’s twin brother will have a major presence in the upcoming installment. Robbie Daymond voices Vergil opposite Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante, with Scout Taylor-Compton returning as Mary.
In the Season 1 finale, Vergil leads an assault on a U.S.-run prison camp holding Makaians and aligns himself with Mundus, the Dark Lord of Makai. Darkcom imprisons Dante at the end of the season. Season 2 premieres May 12, 2026, on Netflix.
