Social media was filled with tributes honoring the actress, as friends shared memories spanning decades of memories and collaboration both on and off screen.

Courteney Cox took a trip down memory lane by sharing an old photo of herself and Jennifer Aniston that looked straight out of their Friends days. The throwback kicked off a birthday shoutout carousel honoring several Aquarians in her life, including Laura Dern and Isla Fisher.

Cox joked in the caption, “Apparently Geminis like Aquarians! So many birthdays this month,” adding that she feels lucky to have those “air heads” in her world, complete with a couple of heart emojis.

Reese Witherspoon joined the party and gave her The Morning Show costar a shoutout on Instagram. She shared a Reel that kicked off with a throwback photo from Friends, from the days she played Rachel Green’s sister, Jill. The on-screen text suggested that when people talk about them “growing up together,” it’s like questioning their credentials, even though they “know ball.”

Witherspoon also wrote a warm birthday note in her caption. The Legally Blonde alum wished Jennifer Aniston a happy birthday and said their journey from playing the Green sisters to starring as TV news anchors has been filled with nonstop talks and laughter.

She praised Aniston’s joy for life, sharp humor, and constant positivity, calling those qualities a “gift.” She added that she feels lucky to have her in her life both “on screen and off,” and said she loves her.

Aniston’s longtime friend Andrea Bendewald also posted a tribute, sharing a recent photo along with a throwback from their teenage years. She called Aniston the “shiniest star” in their circle and praised her love, laughter, generosity, talent, and beauty. Bendewald described her as a “soul sister,” “best friend,” and “chosen family” ever since they were young teens chasing their dreams together.
