The March 4, 2026 (#997) edition of NYT Connections is back with another tricky puzzle. If you’re feeling stuck, here are some clues and hints to help you solve it with ease and save your daily streak.

Connections by The New York Times is a popular online word game that fans can enjoy for free. Created daily by Wyna Liu, the puzzle presents an assortment of 16 different words, arranged in a random order. To solve it, players must sort the words into groups of four by identifying the hidden themes that connect them. Players will only get four guesses to categorize the words correctly into their respective groups. Moreover, the game also helps players figure out which words belong together with the “one away…” hint.
