Need a little boost to crack the January 13, 2025 (#947) edition of NYT Connections? We’ve got you covered with some clues and hints to help you solve it with ease and save your winning streak.

Connections by The New York Times is a daily word puzzle created by Wyna Liu. The objective of the game is to create groups of four from a given set of 16 words. To win the game, players need to identify the hidden themes that connect the words and categorize them accordingly. However, players will get only four guesses to make the correct choices.

Furthermore, the game offers a “one away…” notification as a hint. The four groups are color-coded. These are based on how difficult they are to solve. For instance, yellow is the easiest to solve, while purple is the trickiest of the lot.

Here are some hints for each group:

Yellow Group: This group features objects associated with gifts.
Green Group: This collection features words related to nudging someone.
Blue Group: This set features items seen on a famous board game character.
Purple Group: This group includes words related to a human body part, but with a letter added in front.
