Blake Lively‘s romance thriller movie, which premiered in theaters in 2024, has found a new life in the OTT world. It Ends With Us has been doing incredibly well on streaming, ranking quite high on analytics charts. Following its release, the film became a box office success but also birthed a lawsuit and long-running legal battle between Lively and the film’s director/her co-star Justin Baldoni, whom she accused of sexual harassment.
It Ends With Us is faring well on Prime Video’s streaming charts

However, the film is outranked by The Tank (#1, 358 points), Trap House (#2, 327 points), Shadow Force (#3, 183 points), and A Working Man (#4, 127 points).
In addition, the film is also doing well in several international territories, being either the #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, or #6 movie.
Following its release, It Ends With Us reportedly grossed $351 million against a budget of $25 million (via Box Office Mojo).
The film has a rotten score of 55%, but a solid 87% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Meanwhile, on Metacritic, the film has a Metascore of 53 and a user score of 5.4, both of which denote “mixed or average” reviews.
It Ends With Us is based on Colleen Hoover’s 2016 novel of the same name. The story follows Lily Bloom (Blake Lively), a florist who enters a relationship with neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid. While things are initially fine between the couple, their dynamic becomes heavily strained and toxic due to Kincaid’s growing abusiveness and the re-emergence of Lily’s ex-boyfriend from her youth, Atlas Corrigan.
In addition to directing and executive-producing the film, Justin Baldoni co-stars as Kincaid. Meanwhile, Christy Hall wrote the film’s screenplay.
Besides Lively — also a producer on the film — and Baldoni, It Ends With Us also stars Brandon Sklenar, Jenny Slate, Hasan Minhaj, Kevin McKidd, and Amy Morton, among others.
