Wonder Project has shared the official trailer for The Old Stories: Moses, a companion special from the world of the hit biblical drama series House of David. The three-part show will premiere on Wonder Project’s subscription on Prime Video in the U.S. sometime this spring. Afterward, it will then debut globally on Prime Video at a later date.
“It is a three-part companion special that opens a window into the narratives that shaped Israel long before David took the throne. As the past unfolds with epic force, a young shepherd sees his own future reflected in the courage, failure, and obedience of those who came before him,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in The Old Stories: Moses trailer?
The video shows Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley (Wonder Man) as he transforms into the prophet Moses. It also features another MCU star in the form of O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale), who is playing the story’s main antagonist, the Pharaoh. The trailer highlights some of the TV special’s epic sequences, including Moses splitting the sea to help his people escape their oppressors through the power of God.
The Old Stories: Moses is created, written, directed, and executive-produced by visionary filmmaker Jon Erwin. The cast also includes Louis Ferreira as Jesse, Anna Khaja as Zipporah, and Rada Rae as Avva. Executive producers are Jon Gunn and Justin Rosenblatt for Wonder Project, alongside Gavin J. Behrman. It is produced by Adam Abel, Wonder Project, and Amazon MGM Studios.
“Moses is one of the most iconic figures in history, and his story still resonates with us today,” Erwin said in a statement. “We set out to tell The Old Stories: Moses with a cinematic awe and scale that feels both epic and personal. I am especially proud of the cast performances, and I can’t wait for people to see it on Wonder Project.”
