Dunkin’s latest ad, starring Ben Affleck, took a trip down memory lane at Super Bowl LX. In a surprising twist, the ad parodies the actor’s Oscar-winning movie, while featuring popular television stars from the ‘90.

Ben Affleck-led Good Will Hunting parody ad debuts during 2026 Super Bowl

Dunkin’s ad, played during Super Bowl LX on Sunday, February 8, was inspired by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s 1997 movie, Good Will Hunting.

The ad opened with a VHS-inspired footage with an on-screen text and voice-over, saying, “Before the movie, a much better version of Good Will Hunting was made as a sitcom with a real genius in the lead… and some other actors.”

It then switched to Affleck, portraying Will from the movie instead of Damon, who actually portrayed the role. The title card read, “Good Will Dunkin’,” as he was noting a mathematical solution on a transparent board.

“Hey, Will. Did you arrange the Munchkins into a Fibonacci sequence?” a voice called from behind. It turned out to be Jason Alexander, who played George in Seinfeld. He then proceeds to call him a “genius” while looking at a table with other popular characters from the ‘90s.

The table featured Friends’ Matt LeBlanc, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’s Alfonso Ribeiro, and Family Matters’ Jaleel White. The latter two appeared in their iconic looks from their respective shows. While the ad never mentions their character names, their appearances made it evident who they were playing.

LeBlanc then noted that if Will were truly a genius, he would not have put ice in his coffee. Will then downplayed himself, saying that he’s just “Will Hunting.” The shot then pans to another table, where A Different World’s Jasmine Guy is working on something. She then declared that she would marry the first man who could help her with the Fibonacci sequence.

All five guys then approached her table, with Will trying to imitate Joey’s iconic phrase, “How you doin’?” LeBlanc, seemingly approving his attempt, leaned towards Alexander and said, “Good move.”

Ribeiro then questioned Will whether he already had a girlfriend, showing a photo of Jennifer Aniston. Will responded, once again referencing Friends, “We were on a break.” He added that he has everything he needs at Dunkin’. Ted Danson, donning his look from Cheers, called Will from behind and said that he’d be disappointed if he were still single and working at Dunkin’ at age 50.

Soon enough, Aniston appeared outside the shop in her signature look from Friends. She asks Will if he liked donuts. When he responded positively, she dragged Tom Brady, the former NFL champion, into view and knocked his head against the glass.

In a hilarious twist, she said, “How do you like these nuts?” It is a direct reference to a scene from Good Will Hunting, where Damon said, “How do you like them apples?” after getting the girl’s phone number.
