Arnold Schwarzenegger is making headlines once again, but this time for a thoughtful gesture that has fans talking. The action icon recently stepped up to support a group of veterans in a way that’s quickly gaining attention. While details are unfolding, his involvement has sparked plenty of curiosity about what really happened behind the scenes.
Arnold Schwarzenegger organizes The Running Man screening for veterans on Veterans Day
On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, Arnold Schwarzenegger shared a post on his official Instagram account that highlighted his celebration of November 11, 2025, recognized as Veterans Day 2025, at the West LA VA.
Schwarzenegger reportedly discovered that the movie screening area at the center was non-operational and in disrepair. To express his gratitude towards veterans, the actor and activist took the initiative to organize a movie screening for them. Furthermore, his efforts served as a gesture of kindness and a motivation for others to follow suit.
Schwarzenegger reportedly contacted his partners at Skydance and Paramount Pictures to arrange access to a private screening room on the Paramount lot and requested a showing of The Running Man, which he had recently viewed there himself.
The studios agreed, and within a week, Arnold coordinated two buses to transport veterans from the VA for a special screening of the new remake of his classic action film, The Running Man.
The Terminator star captioned his post, “Do good, whenever you can. That’s your greatest power, and don’t let anyone take it away from you. Not government, not social media, not politicians.”
In response to this, the new Running Man’s lead actor, Glen Powell, commented on his post, “You’re one of a kind, Arnie. Thanks for bringing joy to the world and standing up for our heroes.”
The new R-rated action-packed dystopian thriller film The Running Man was released on November 14, 2025, and is currently playing in theaters.
