A television show starring Andy Samberg and Tim Robinson is officially set to hit Netflix today, bringing a hit comedy series to the streaming platform.
What Andy Samberg and Tim Robinson show is on Netflix today?
The animated comedy series Digman! is officially on Netflix beginning today. The series, which was created by Neil Campbell and Samberg, stars Samberg in the titular role of Rip Digman, an adventurer who returns to the world of archaeology after 12 years on hiatus.
Digman! originally premiered in 2023 on Comedy Central, and has since seen two seasons air on the network, totaling 16 episodes in total. A third season has not officially been announced as of now, so it’s unclear whether or not the show will get a renewal.
“The story of a world in which archaeologists are massive celebrities and the coolest people on the planet,” reads the official synopsis of the show. “A retired adventurer haunted by the death of his wife Bella, Rip Digman and his team of experts travel to dangerous parts of the world to unearth legendary artifacts and grow their reputations as fearless adventurers.”
Alongside Samberg, Digman! also stars several other high-profile names in the comedy world, including Mitra Jouhari, Tim Robinson, Tim Meadows, Melissa Fumero, Guz Khan, and Dale Soules. Mike L. Mayfield directs the first season of the show, with Season 2 directed by a litany of people, including Sarah Seember Huisken, Adam Ford, and Nick Smith.
