Broadcast networks and streaming platforms announced several renewal decisions throughout February 2026. The updates spanned cable and streaming services, covering scripted dramas, comedies, reality competitions, and talk shows.
Some renewals were confirmed ahead of upcoming season premieres, while others extended established franchises for multiple seasons. The announcements outlined production timelines and future release windows across 2026 and 2027.
Every TV show renewed in February
Happy’s Place
NBC renewed Happy’s Place for a third season on February 2, 2026, according to Variety. The comedy premiered in 2024 and wrapped its second season on January 30, 2026.
Lisa Katz, president of scripted content for NBC & Peacock, said, “Both St. Denis Medical and Happy’s Place have delivered comedic brilliance over their first two seasons, truly connecting with our audience with hilarious characters, and remain hugely important and successful programs to our primetime and Peacock lineup.” The series stars Reba McEntire and follows Bobbie McAllister, who inherits half-ownership of a bar from her father.
St. Denis Medical
NBC also renewed St. Denis Medical for a third season. The sitcom premiered in 2024, and its Season 2 finale aired the same day the renewal report was published.
Katz added, “A huge thank you to the producers, casts, and crews of both shows who have brought these wonderful stories to life and will now continue to tell their laugh-out-loud stories.” The series centers on staff and patients at a fictional Oregon hospital and stars Wendi McLendon-Covey and David Alan Grier.
Finding Her Edge
Netflix renewed Finding Her Edge for a second season on February 3, 2026. The sports teen drama debuted in January and entered Netflix’s Top 10 for English television, reaching third place and charting in 81 countries with more than 12 million views.
Showrunner Jeff Norton said, “I set out to make a show about love, featuring characters navigating a particularly difficult path in their lives and in their sport.”
A Man on the Inside
Netflix renewed A Man on the Inside for a third season, according to Deadline. Created by Mike Schur and starring Ted Danson, the comedy premiered its second season at the end of 2025. The series has scored above 90% on Rotten Tomatoes across both seasons.
The Floor
Fox renewed The Floor for Seasons 6 and 7 on February 6, 2026. Hosted by Rob Lowe, the game show debuted in 2024 and features 100 contestants competing in trivia duels. Michael Thorn said, “From day one, The Floor has fit the very definition of Fox’s bold, high-energy approach to entertainment.”
Running Wild with Bear Grylls
Fox renewed Running Wild with Bear Grylls for a ninth season. The survival series previously aired on NBC and Nat Geo, with its last season released in 2023. Michael Thorn said the show “combines epic adventure with intimate, human storytelling.”
Off Campus
Prime Video granted Off Campus an early Season 2 renewal ahead of its May debut. Peter Friedlander said the series “captures the kind of emotionally charged, character-driven storytelling that truly resonates with our global Prime Video audience.”
The Assassin
Prime Video officially renewed The Assassin for Season 2, with production scheduled to begin later this year. The thriller stars Keeley Hawes and Freddie Highmore and will continue their characters’ story in Spain’s criminal underworld.
King of Drag
Revry renewed King of Drag for Season 2, opening casting applications in February with a fall premiere planned. Christopher J. Rodriguez said, “The success of Season 1 made it clear that the reign of the drag kings is upon us.”
The Jennifer Hudson Show
Fox renewed The Jennifer Hudson Show for a fifth season set to air in 2026-27. Jennifer Hudson said, “I could not be more honored to continue this journey alongside a phenomenal group of brilliant producers, dedicated crew, and collaborative partners.”
Dark Winds
AMC renewed Dark Winds for Season 5 ahead of its Season 4 premiere, the February 5 report confirmed. Production will begin in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with the eight-episode season slated for release in 2027.
Dan McDermott said, “Over four seasons, Dark Winds has masterfully blended compelling character-driven stories, Navajo culture, spirituality, and breathtaking cinematography.” Season 4 premieres February 15, 2026, on AMC and AMC+.
Extra
Fox renewed Extra for a 33rd season, extending the syndicated entertainment news program through the 2026-27 television season, according to Variety. Derek Hough will return as host, alongside Mona Kosar Abdi and Terri Seymour. Frank Cicha said, “Amidst challenging times in syndication, the reinvention of ‘Extra’ has emerged as a genuinely positive story.”
Animal Control
Fox also renewed Animal Control for Season 5, per Deadline. The workplace comedy starring Joel McHale has surpassed 1 billion minutes watched on Netflix across its first three seasons. Michael Thorn said, “With the writing, ensemble, and audience response all landing at new levels, renewing Animal Control was an easy decision.”
Industry
HBO renewed Industry for a fifth and final season. Creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay said, “For some time now, we have been thinking about how best to end the show on an unparalleled high.”
Paradise (Honorable Mention)
Paradise has not yet received an official renewal and is currently running with its second season. But it is expected to conclude with Season 3, as creator Dan Fogelman said, “We know what the end is, and it’s an end that would make it very difficult to make a season four come afterward.” So it’s highly likely that its renewal will be announced right around the time Season 2 ends.
This concludes the list of all TV shows renewed in February 2026.
