A young mother has been seriously injured in the driveway of her own home after her car rolled forward and pinned her to the side of her house.

A young mother has been seriously injured in the driveway of her own Adelaide home after her car rolled forward and pinned her to the side of her house.

Emergency services were called to Moseley Street at Mansfield Park in Adelaide's north-west at 9.30am today after a neighbour heard her screams and called Triple Zero.

Distressed friends and family arrived at the scene shortly after paramedics.

Emergency services were called to Moseley Street at Mansfield Park in Adelaide's north-west at 9.30am today after a neighbour heard her screams and called Triple Zero.

Police said the woman got out of her Toyota SUV when it suddenly rolled forward and crushed her.

She was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Neighbour Navye Poliyadath saw paramedics put the 39-year-old woman into the ambulance.

"I hope she's OK," Poliyadath said.

The woman's husband told 9News his wife is in a coma in intensive care.

Police will tow the vehicle as they investigate what went wrong.
