Woman charged with murder a month after woman found dead in Ipswich home

A woman has been charged with the domestic violence murder of another woman whose body was found in an Ipswich home last month.

A woman has been charged with the domestic violence murder of another woman whose body was found in an Ipswich home last month.

The body of Katherine Sanowski, a 42-year-old woman from Springfield, was found by police in the home on Beryl Court in Bellbird Park on February 24.

Police had been called to a disturbance on the street.

Officers believed her body had been there for around two weeks.

The 34-year-old woman who lives in the home was found nearby and taken for a medical assessment.

She has been charged with murder domestic violence offence and is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court this afternoon.
