Two injured during drive-by shooting in Queensland city

A young man and woman were wounded when bullets hit their home early today.

Police are hunting two gunmen today over a drive-by shooting in south-east Queensland that left two young people injured.

Emergency services were called to the home at Park Ridge in the city of Logan about 1.20am after shots were fired from a passing vehicle at the property.

An 18-year-old man was taken to Brisbane's Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition, while a 20-year-old woman was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are hunting two gunmen today over a drive-by shooting in south-east Queensland that left two young people injured.

Residents told 9News they were woken to the sound of gunshots.

"It is scary ... you can't play with these sort of things like guns ... you don't know where the bullets come from," one man said.

Police said in a statement there is no current threat to the public.

"Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.

"Anyone with information that could assist is urged to contact police.

"There is no further information at this time."
