Police are investigating after a horse was unlawfully killed in Queensland last month.
Police are investigating the death of a pregnant palomino mare in a paddock on a Queensland property.
The horse's owner found her dead with a gunshot wound on Ripley Road in South Ripley.
Police said initial investigations indicate the horse was shot by an unknown person sometime in the early hours of Saturday, October 25.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area or has information about the incident to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
