Two offenders are on the run after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed with a machete in a north Melbourne park.
Children were in the park when the scuffle broke out between the boy and two others at Pinnacle Park in Mickleham just after 4pm yesterday.
Punches were thrown before the boy was stabbed several times with a machete.

Emergency services responded and the boy was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses said they were shocked at the violence of the attack in a family environment just after school had finished for the week.
"I'm honestly really shocked," Donesha Sao said.
"Stuff like this doesn't happen around here."

Police have confirmed they are still searching for the two offenders, who fled immediately after the attack.
They are believed to have been wearing hoods at the time.

Victoria Police are still investigating the incident and no arrests have been made.
