A man has been charged after an alleged assault outside a Sydney pub left another man fighting for his life in a coma.
Fabian Morales, 49, was rushed to hospital in a critical condition following an alleged assault outside The Golden Lion in Hurstville, in Sydney's south.
Police allege Morales was at the pub when he went outside to speak with a motorbike rider on the street about the noise of the motorcycle.

Morales was allegedly assaulted before the motorcyclist returned to his bike and rode away.
Police allege the men are not known to each other.
Paramedics treated Morales at the scene before he was taken to St George Hospital and placed in a coma.
Police arrested a 34-year-old man at a home in Condell Park yesterday about 3.30pm.
He was charged with grevious bodily harm to person with intent.
The man was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 7 today.
