He was allegedly punched by the motorcyclist and hit his head on the ground.

"We had a couple of beers and all of a sudden he comes outside, and people started rushing, next thing you know he's on the ground," Morales' friend Lionel said.

"He was completely knocked out, blood all over his face."

Paramedics treated Morales at the scene before he was taken to St George Hospital and placed in a coma.

The assault was captured on multiple security cameras, which police are using to try to find Morales' alleged attacker.

The 49-year-old man was treated at the scene.

"He's a gentleman, he does his business , he looks after his father," Lionel said of Morales.

"For something like this to happen to him, it's unbelievable."
