A 25-year-old man has been charged with murder after the death of an elderly man in the regional NSW town of Armidale last month.
Police found the body of a 78-year-old man at a house on Markham Street on the morning of October 13 after a concern for welfare report was made.
Police have not disclosed how the man died, or whether any alleged weapons were found at the scene.

A 25-year-old man who lived at the home was also present and taken to hospital for further assessment as police established a crime scene.
He was then arrested at a home in Armidale this morning and taken to Armidale Police Station, where he was charged with murder.
The man was refused bail to appear at court today.
