Police are hunting for seven people after a gang was caught on CCTV smashing a door and stealing two BMWs in a violent home invasion in Logan, south of Brisbane.
The gang jumped the high fence of the Rochedale South home about 1.30am today and and casually cased out the property.
Police are also investigating whether the group is behind five other home invasions overnight, with vehicles and other valuables stolen.

"Everything was locked, gates, alarms, we had cameras, they checked all the doors, all the windows around the bottom, the only way they could get in was to smash through the door," the homeowner said.
After grabbing a rock and metal pole, that's exactly what the group did.
An alarm scared off one intruder while the others were confronted by one of the homeowners inside.
"There's so much damage inside, they've thrown rocks through the window to get through, it smashed our stone benchtop, the floor's all scratched from the volume of glass," the victim said.
The group grabbed keys and headed for the garage, stealing the family's two BMWs.
"They hit the pylon of the side of the house when they drove forward, they threw a steel pole at my hubby when he confronted them in the garage," the homeowner said.
Both of the vehicles have been found, but the offenders remain on the run.
Police say they are hunting at least seven people.
