Ex-partner of Roberta Williams' daughter seriously injured in Bali shooting

The ex-partner of Roberta Williams' daughter has suffered serious injuries after a shooting in Bali claimed the life of 32-year-old Melbourne man Zivan Radmanovic.

A Melbourne man seriously injured in a deadly shooting in Bali has been identified as the ex-partner of Roberta Williams' daughter.

Sanar Ghanim, 34, has a child with Danielle Stephens - the daughter of Roberta and stepdaughter of late gangland figure Carl Williams.

Ghanim was rushed to Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar for treatment after he was caught up in a shooting at a villa in Mengwi alongside 32-year-old Melbourne man Zivan Radmanovic.

Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara said Radmanovic was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is understood Ghanim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, reportedly from being beaten rather than shot.

Local police have not yet determined a motive for the shooting.

"We cannot yet determine the motive for this shooting and also who the perpetrator is until our investigation is complete," Batubara said.

Masked men are believed to have broke into the villa before fleeing on scooters.

Local media reported that Radmanovic's wife witnessed his fatal shooting.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) confirmed the Australian man's death and said they were providing consular assistance to his family.

"DFAT stands ready to provide consular assistance to another Australian injured in the same incident."

The villa has been sealed off by police as they gather evidence at the scene and interview witnesses.
