Cyclist dies after being struck by allegedly stolen car in hit and run

The driver of the allegedly stolen car left the scene and was found a short time later.

A cyclist has died after he was involved in an alleged hit and run in Queensland's Bundaberg region last night.

Police said a 34-year-old was on a bicycle on Takalvan Street in Millbank at 7.50pm when he was struck by a black Hyundai IX35.

A cyclist has died after he was involved in an alleged hit and run in Queensland's Bundaberg region last night.

Emergency services commenced CPR on the cyclist, however he died at the scene.

The man has not been publicly identified.

Police are seeking CCTV or dashcam vision as they continue to investigate the crash.
